Smtp Authentication

In most cases, the who who supplies internet is not the one who is not hosting your email. The Internet provider will block any emails you try to send through their servers there you need to use your email host's server to send mail. This process is called smtp authentication.

You will need your email address and your email password to be able to use any internet provider to send out mail.

When you set up your email account in Outlook and other email clients you must enable authentication for the outgoing mail server.

In many email clients this option is not enabled by default, which results in an error "550 - Relay not permitted" whenever you try to send an email.
